Chris Pope (sometimes referred to as “SpacePope”) is a lifelong Sierra nerd, best known in the adventure game community for working with Mark Crowe and Scott Murphy (The Two Guys From Andromeda) on the long-awaited Space Quest spiritual successor SpaceVenture. He works day to day with Mark and other team members as a co-partner and developer. Chris co-designed and developed Cluck Yegger in Escape From the Planet of the Poultroids with Mark Crowe, where he also did the programming and some voice acting for the game. He is also the voice of the “SpacePope” in SpaceVenture. Back in the early 2000s, Chris received some notoriety for breaking the arcade Pac-Man Turbo world record. Some may also know him for his podcasting network, “The Tech Jives Network,” from years back.
