Kenneth Allen became a musician at age 10, learning to play the French Horn because the school was all out of trumpets. Ken pursued a college education in film composition, which he eventually earned while attending UCLA. It was a humble ad in the Fresno Bee that caught his attention. Sierra On-Line was seeking musicians/composers for adventure games. Ken answered the ad which began a 30-year career in the video games industry. He composed the soundtracks for some iconic games such as Kings Quest, Space Quest, Star Trek and Descent. In all, Ken’s music appears in about 30 games. Recently, Mr. Allen completed composing the soundtrack for Space Venture. He is currently composing music for a fighting game inspired by the Super Nintendo series Clayfighter.
